Southern Crescent Indivisible of Georgia Community Update
Thank You, Georgians
On Saturday, April 5 – Hands Off! Day – Southern Crescent Indivisible of Georgia sponsored three local street protests.
The first was in Griffin, co-sponsored with the Spalding County Democratic Committee. We had 152 enthusiastic protesters.
The second was in Jonesboro along busy Tara Blvd. We had a diverse group of 71 dedicated protesters.
The third was in downtown Fayetteville. We had 551 enthusiastic protesters surrounding the old courthouse. Fabulous turnout, Fayetteville!
Several of our members supported the Atlanta protest that started at Piedmont Park and marched to the Capitol. An estimated 30,000 attended this protest. Our Southern Crescent Indivisible member Nora Pullen was one of the featured speakers. Good job, Nora!
